Samsung upgrades its Bespoke Refrigerator line with new Smart Storage technology. This feature helps users organize food better inside the fridge. It uses smart sensors to track what items users put in. The system then shows this information on the fridge’s touchscreen.

People can see exactly where their food is stored without opening the door. The refrigerator also gives alerts about expiration dates. It helps reduce food waste by reminding users to eat items before they spoil. Samsung says this makes kitchen management much easier for families.
The Smart Storage works with both fresh and frozen sections. Users place items in special zones inside the fridge. Cameras and weight sensors identify each product automatically. The fridge learns habits over time to give personalized suggestions.
Samsung product manager Jane Kim explained the idea. “We saw people forgetting about food in their fridges. This solves that problem. It saves money and cuts waste.” The system requires no extra containers or manual input. It integrates directly with the existing Family Hub platform.
The updated Bespoke Refrigerators start shipping next month. Prices begin at $3,499. They come in Samsung’s signature customizable colors. The Smart Storage function will be standard on all new Bespoke 4-Door models. Owners of older Bespoke fridges cannot add it through updates.
Samsung expects high demand for this upgrade. Retail partners like Best Buy and Home Depot will carry the new models. The company believes this strengthens its lead in smart home appliances. Competitors currently lack similar real-time food tracking features.
